Our friends of Vienna’s Leap Records used our cards for their first release. Now their second one is out and still gets attention because of the promos earlier this year.

The project came to the eyes and ears of ”Strictly Kev” of DJ Food / Ninja Tune. He compared our postcards with the Stepkids ones released by Stones Throw at the same time. (There is a Stepkids album with a bonus postcard record.) The Stepkids’ one is pressed like in the old days, directly into the paper of the cards. The sound quality is weak, but it’s the same product as back when life was still black and white. This card will destroy itself from play to play. Read what DJ Food blogged about these 2 postcard records!

Limited to 60 pieces! 2 short 8-bit Nintendo songs from Toulouse, France. The „Digital Microcomputer Stereophonic 8-bit Music System Deluxe“ can be heard with their tracks Dso6 & Dso7. Artwork by Fränec. Even when it’s hard to bring 8-bit frequencies on such a small 4“ record, it is still a great item. The music is not that perfect as it is on songs with not that extreme elements.
